Nancy and Chelsea have signed.
Essentially, you are missing the presence of some players on a team that were trying to win a scholarship. They scored. They didn't really make a lot of entry passes to Nancy except when necessary, which it rarely was. When they needed her, such as the state semi-final game, she showed up with 21 points. It also reflects that they didn't play Nancy a lot during blowouts.
I guess I'm confused, a number one post player who is 6 ft. 9 and only aves. 10 pts. and seven rebounds a game. What am I missing here? Potential?
I think you can ignore this. That is who she is....she sits at the 3 point line throwing up a ton of jump shots. I got a chance to watch her first school game this year and it was amazing how many people were complaining in the stands.
She has to get tougher and be more aggressive

I guarantee you can ignore this.
Lots of hurt feelings by those whose favorite team didn't get to sign the best player in the class of 2016.

If you have watched her play, you know she isn't the best player right now. I'm hoping that Sherri will get her in the weight room, get her a lot stronger, work with Mulkey on becoming the ruler of the paint and she could be just what we need. I think it will take a year or two after she gets here before we know how good she can be.
You may be right. But who got the best player is not always measured by what happens the day they are signed, but by what they produce over the next 5 years - a long time to grow and get even better.
I have never been more excited about the potential of a recruiting class than I am this year.
And I say that not expecting Nancy to be as great as Courtney. She was a once in a lifetime player. Perhaps the most impressive player in the last 20 years of NCAA WBB. When we signed her, I knew we had signed a wonderful player, but I did not realize just how special she was.
This I do know. We were not the only major school who wanted to sign Nancy. In fact, it is reasonable to assume that virtually every school would have liked signing her. Kudos to Sherry, Jan, and the others.
