This Is My Question Also! Hypocrite U Fans Up In Arms!

Listen to them cry and whine about the refs. Boo hoo. Nothing is said about the whistle swallowing and muggings that went on during the comeback. Eff 'em.

Yes, I love the 2 throwdowns of Stephanie Dolson of UConn by Griner and the 2 throwdowns of Chelsea Poppens of Iowa State by Griner this year and only ONE foul was called! Unbelievable!

I'm guessing Melissa Barlow and team won't be on Sulkey Mulkey's Christmas card list this year!!! :ez-roll:

Barlow is one of the very few zebras that will not let Sulkey intimidate her.

I already found Skeletor's postgame ref whining and cannot wait to dive into BF.com's drivel (the drivel is then posted to the link in my signature).

I can understand their frustration. Why did OU only make one Final Four when we had the Paris twins? Because the crazy bracketness landed us with opponents that we were not matched up well with. We could dominate the Big 12 regular season and be caught on an off-night in the postgame conference tourney. We could get every rebound from our rebounding queen, but then cringe as she missed tons of free throws.

So, while there may be a bit of taking joy in the suffering of others (I wish there was a word that described that mindset that would make a fun musical number. hmmm...) I can understand their frustration... but at least they got a title. Those things are tough to come by in this game.

As good as Courtney and Ashley were, no one ever said she was the best player in the history of women's basketball. And Carolyn Peck said on Saturday that she thought Sims was the SECOND best player in the country this year! Plus add in 4 other All-American senior players and that "Griner don't foul!" and it's ridiculous Hypocrite U didn' win at least 3 NCs. I can name a lot of coaches that would have won more than 1! As Sulkey Mulkey said during Griner's freshman year, "If ya'll are gonna git me, you better git me this year!" Sulkey Mulkey is a great recruiter (aka cheater) and great motivator (when she has the "poor me" going strong!) but I don't think she's a great X's and O's coach at all. She thought they wouldn't let her get beat (and I sure didn't think they would either...). You'd think with 30+ years of D1 experience (as a player, asst coach and head coach) she'd know better but she doesn't because she thinks she's entitled. And I am ecstatic they lost!

I, too, am ecstatic Baylor lost. I'm almost as ecstatic that Stanford and that stupid tree mascot are also finished for the year! I am now officially a Tennesee fan. But I WILL NOT wear orange! ;-)

Totally agree! I think the ND/UConn winner in semi-finals (if they both win) will be clear favorite in finals and expect it to be Skylar and Irish. She seems really focused on winning that championship. She had to be ecstatic too!

I'm not trying to defend Baylor. If we were to announce that Big 12 is sending them to the Sun Belt tomorrow I would ask you why we couldn't do it today instead.

After following the Internet explosions of fanbases during the season, I try to put things in perspective. Sometimes stuff just happens that cannot be predicted, cannot be coached, cannot be Presidential Oval Office ESPN special Barackatology'd. We had it happen to us with the Paris twins, Baylor had it happen to them.

Once again, Sun Belt the Baylors. Actually, send them to the MVC so they can't play football anymore. How dare they beat us two seasons ago :D

Do NOT tease me Badger!

I'm wondering where all the Baylor trolls are. This is some sort of record for not showing up after a Baylor game.

Especially after Sulkey Mulkey showed her "True Colors" last night!

I'm also wondering how much Danielle Robinson and Nyeshia Stevenson are smiling today. Of course, I'm sure they're too classy to say so.

Baylor trolls were much cuter before they started being relevant in sports. Oh how I miss the early aughts

Well if your happy about the Baylor loss, then you are one of the folks who just decided that Women's Basketball is dead and gone. They have let this game become who is strongest and who is willing to punch, trip, hold, elbow, scratch and lose players fouling out to win. RIP women's BB. I for one am not happy about it, this crap should have been stopped about 10 years ago when they started to allow post players to push defensive players off their defensive position, to "back them down" or to "improve their position under the basket". The defensive player is entitled to their position and it should be called a offensive foul every time some player sticks their rear out bends their legs and starts pushing backwards.
