Wow.....you are a genius, BUT we have 2 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS (2005, 2012) Guess that's Boomer logic, since OU will NEVER get one!!

Using the play where Morgan was injured as an example, she was fouled well before the Tennessee player fell in front of her. Call the original foul, it doesn't get to the point where Morgan was tripped. Officiate the game as the rules are written and more players will foul out unless they alter the way they play defense. Eventually, coaches will change the way they play defense and the game becomes safer.

Kim Mulkey: Losing a game, losing your dignity
Posted by Berry Tramel on April 1, 2013 at 6:15 pm
The Brittney Griner era ended Sunday night in Oklahoma City. Griner, Baylor’s 6-foot-8 giant who is to women’s basketball what Wilt Chamberlain was to men’s basketball 55 years ago, went out with class. Baylor lost to Louisville 82-81 in a massive upset, but Griner played maybe not well by her standards, but fiercely and with pride and with dignity.
The same cannot be said of her coach. Kim Mulkey is a polarizing figure. But there can be no polar opinions on Mulkey’s actions Sunday night after Louisville’s victory. Mulkey embarrassed her sport.
Mulkey asked media to query her about the officiating, then ripped the officials for a variety of calls and the overall tone of the game. “The game started out way too physical,” Mulkey said. “I thought all three of (the officials), if they go past this round of officiating, it’ll be sad for the game.”
You want to know why leagues and organizations and conferences discipline coaches and players who criticize officiating? That’s why, right there. Because they will lose their minds and question the integrity of the game. Which is why Mulkey should be in line for a hefty fine.
Mulkey’s actions weren’t limited to the press conference. When Baylor was whistled for an offensive foul late in the game — not too long after Louisville coach Jeff Walz was given a technical foul for sitting on the scorer’s table — Mulkey went nuts. She tried to rip off her jacket, though it didn’t come off all that easy. She appeared to be out of her mind. No joke, I thought she was going to disrobe right there on the court.
Mulkey is a great coach. Of that there is no doubt. And I know coaches are so sold-out to their ballteams, that emotions quickly take over in the heat of games. So I’ll give her a pass for the on-court theatrics, though I would have given her a technical, too. Losing your cool should be the standard definition of what warrants a technical, and Mulkey lost her cool.
But the press conference tirade, 15, 20, 30 minutes after the game, whatever it was, is inexcusable. That’s not emotions taking over. That’s entitlement. That’s nonsense. Coaches have been losing big games for decades, and many of them are still peeved well after the game, often at the refs. But most of them, male and female, have the grace to lose with dignity.
Mulkey did not. She’s a great example of why certain rules are necessary. Left unfettered, you can’t trust some coaches to act right.

WE have 2 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS...
Are you referring to you and your coach? Speaking of which, perhaps you'd like to comment about her behavior and demeanor after the game (and in the late stages, when she attempted a strip-tease!):
Comments, got mulk?
You might remind RGIII that he is very dependent on an OU alum for protection.I agree with what Geno said before the game about Lousiville in that he doesn't like to play them because of their style of play.
I would love for OU to win a NC... But if it comes with the price tag of having a whiny ***** (rhymes with Witch) like Mulkey for our coach, vs Sherri Coale, then I am content to never win one. Some things come with too high of a price tag, having Mulkey as our coach is one of them.
BTW, nice first post, after last night's debacle. Come onto a visiting board talking smack... Nice.
I predict that others will not be so gentle.

As a Baylor fan on a board unaccustomed to talking football, I would understand if you don't get the reference, but here's background: When Pete Carroll coached USC in the mid/early aughts, some sports writers anointed his talented group of two Heisman winners (Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart) and many other first round/other round NFL draft picks as a "dynasty." However, they technically only won one crystal football trophy, for all of their NFL, Heisman, etc. talent.
So, a website named onepete.com raised the question: Shouldn't dynasties win more than one?
PS: I'm not explaining anymore. I put glaring errors in there on purpose for humor. But please, take it to BF.com so that you can point out everything wrong. Here, I'll get you started: "You don't award crystal footballs in basketball! Texas A&M wasn't a member of the SEC when they won their title!"
For Baylor hating purposes, I would also like to bring this back for humor and historical purposes:

Since you mentioned where you live, I will tell you about something surprising that I saw recently in your hometown. There is a neighborhood somewhere in the town (I wouldn't say where because I don't want to alert any hunters), in which I recently found myself staring at a woman sitting in her driveway feeding a peacock. I asked her where she got a peacock. She said that it wasn't hers. Some neighbors had obtained the peacock some five or six years earlier, and they had moved. Since that time, the peacock had no specific home, but several of the neighbors had made a point to provide food for the peacock, as well as letting him roam freely in the neighborhood for about three years. He remains there with as much freedom as any animal, walking around a neighborhood in your home town. You prolly should have used a different word instead of "dynasty." Whenever I hear that word it is used for teams that dominate a sport for several years like the Dallas Cowboys in the early 90's, Lakers during Phil Jackson era, Bulls with Jordan, NY Yankees in 60's and UCONN from 1990-2000 WBB. Although I really appreciate the compliment, we are far from a dynasty.
I also recognize from watching replays, refs are right a lot more often than the fans are.
I realize you were talking about another game and I agree with the above. However, it is worth noting that the officials forum refs also thought that the BU, Louisville game was badly officiated.

Having said that, Kim's press conference reaction was WAY overboard IMO. Where was BU in the first half and how in the world can a coach with the caliber of players Kim has not at least allude to the fact that something was wrong and that something may well have been that the coaching staff didn't have the team ready to play.
You prolly should have used a different word instead of "dynasty."
