In my opinion, it has to be a defensive play. That's the block by Jamal Bieniemy on Texas' last-second three-pointer. If that shot goes, and the Wronghorns win, the season is pretty much done right there.

The key offensive play of the season, going from memory, was the shot by Doolittle to beat TCU in Norman. I saw that one happen in person, so I'm a bit biased. But that, and the later win in Fort Worth, definitely helped make the case for OU to get into the NCAA field over the Toads.

That was a great play, and probably the most meaningful one.

The best basketball play I saw this year, regardless of situation, was during the KU game in Norman. JB stole the ball, pushed it downcourt, drew the attention of KU's entire defense (that had made it back), and then found Manek for a wide open dunk. I remember more timely plays, and luckier plays, but I can't remember the last time I saw such a beautiful basketball play by an OU player.

generally speaking, the block attempt on a 3 point in the closing seconds is a risky one.....don't want to put opponent at the line....it's a gift....but horn pretty much put that one on a tee for Bienemy.

as it stands, heckuva play. no, no, no...yes. lol.
