Through four games (a small sample size to be sure), there have been signs this team may turn out to be better than expected from three point range.

Christian James: 71%
Matt Freeman: 60%
Darrion Strong-Moore: 43%
Jordan Woodard: 37%

Three other players have made a limited number of shots from behind the arc.

Strong is my "unexpected surprise"

IF Lon can get him comfortable with the point...slide Woodard over that would be nice. Drops someone from the start..not sure who and doubt that happens. Nice to have TOO MANY guys! lol

With the dribble pass weave we do out front, honestly anyone of the guards can bring the ball up.

Sure it'll slow down (3 pt %) but we def have guys that can shoot. I like that Lattin has the ability to hit the 15ft jump shot. That should open the inside for some driving by our bigger guards.

I hear you but I like Odomes' 6-6 stout frame, slashing ability and defense. He's also shown good awareness and passing. If he could just eliminate some turnovers and knock down some shots.

3 point shooting has been a pleasant surprise for me too. Doolittle needs to shoot more..

Announcers at every game keep saying OU will run and feed it down low to the bigs and I just don't see that happening. I think we will run and gun and keep jacking it up from 3 which is fine with me :) I think Mcgusty will keep getting better from deep as well.

I'd love to be proven wrong, but from what I've seen so far, Strong-Moore is not a 15+ minute player in Big 12 games.
