Ticket Sharing

The OU Ticket office has a service that I wasn't aware of until yesterday. It may not be a new program, but I never used it until yesterday. It's called Ticket Sharing and it allows Season Ticket holders to transfer one or more of their tickets to another person with no charge to either person. It's rediculously easy! I can verify that it is very easy to receive tickets. It is pretty awesome.

Great idea! To my knowledge, this service was not available before. If you'll recall, members here complained constantly about empty season ticket holder seats, especially those held by donors. A few season ticket holders made an effort to give away or sell their tickets, but far too many didn't seem to care.

I'm betting this is one more step administration has taken in response to Coach Kruger's plan to increase attendance. If so, it's good to know that someone finally listened.

I knew that the people could sell tickets on SoonerSports.com, but I wasn't aware of the 'Ticket Sharing' program until this week.

I've transferred many a ticket via ticket sharing to friends when I couldn't go to a game. So much easier since they can just print it themselves, don't have to worry about meeting them to give them the tickets.
