Duke may have taken OSU too lightly. OSU leads 23-14. They do have what it takes to beat Duke. I wonder if OSU is the first team that Duke has played since Chelsea's injury that was really equipped to take advantage of it.

Delaware finding the going tough against North Carolina, 12-23.

Hanging in there at 29-25. Carolina is tough though.

I had to mute it. The incessant slurping was just too much.

So Delaware, a six seed, gets to play at home while we play in front of eight people.

Watching the OSU-Duke game, the Cowgirls got very lucky just now with a desperation, shot-clock-expiring 3 that went in off the backboard.
The OSU coach needs to tell his players to get the ball upcourt a little less lackadaisically, as the last shot was the result of being too nonchalant about it.

So NC lets the only person that can hurt them hurt them. Maybe instead of guarding the ball they should have doubled her. We'll see if that five point swing makes a difference.

N Carolina 43 Delaware 35 half
OSU 34 Duke 21 half
Kentucky 38 Dayton 24 2:10
Louisville 38 Purdue 23 half

Kentucky 40 Dayton 31 half

The Dukette's are going down....34 - 21 at half. The game reminds me of the OU - UCLA game....OSU has a lot of energy and are getting the rebounds and 2nd chance points... They look composed and ready to advance to the Sweet 16. Keep it going Cowgirls...I think we all owe a big thanks to the other big 12 teams, because it has been a battle all year long playing each other, and now we get to play some other teams and show them what we have learned....Let the 2nd half unfold.....:clap:clap

Delaware ahead of NC. They're in the bonus the last ten plus.

It's nice to have a home court advantage. I think that has helped Duke and Delaware in the second half. Dayton made a run, but has now dropped back. Purdue was never alive.

I think we see the ACC is vastly overrated. osu should have beaten Duke....basically threw it away (literally!). The records look good because they don't play anyone other than 4 or 5 decent teams. The Big 12 has proven they've been underrated by the polls.

Pretty much true. I doubt that Duke wins on a neutral site against the what, about #5 or 6 seed in the Big Twelve. I am somewhat surprised that NC didn't handle Delaware, and I wasn't that big on NC. The officiating did have somewhat of a home court flavor in that one. But, Duke does join another ACC rival in the Sweet Sixteen.

Tulsa didn't get to see much of the Delaware/NC game. I've never been a big fan of NC. They've always seemed to be completely undisciplined and out of control. If they can't out-athlete you, they haven't a clue how to win a game.

A broken egg does have more organization than the North Carolina offense.

I agree and I pretty much think Maryland fits that bill too. Lots of talent physically but out of control most of time.

Baylor is killing Florida State, and Notre Dame is keeping pace against Iowa. I don't think we will have upsets tonight.

LSU has a shot playing at home against Penn State of pulling the upset even though would be mild.

Mulkey has the officials intimidated. Five minutes left in the half and only two fouls--Prince and Pope.

Baylor can trounce FSU on its own merit. They don't need striped help.

OSU should fire their coach when he slowed the pace down. OSU plays much better at a fast pace.
