OU took a look at him early and liked him. He's a poor man's version of Roger Franklin.

I really liked what I saw of McGilveary his junior year. Guess OU cooled on him when he didn't show a lot of improvement as as senior. Southern got a nice player IMO.

He just doesn't have the all around game needed for a 6'4 guy.
