And we got stuck with that bum wearing number 2.
I knew there was no way he could continue scoring 18 ppg once we got into conference play...

Wish we still had them both but if we had to lose one glad it was not Pledge.

Pledger is a stud. He's improved each year. When he finishes his career at OU he'll be near the top of most 3-pt and scoring lists.

Love this kid. Hoping things open up a bit for him next year, and he can do even more for us.

We both thought that he had a chance to really shine in Lon's system. If he can keep getting quicker and stronger than he will have a chance to make good money playing basketball when he is done at OU. Really proud of his progression over his first three seasons.

I think Clark isn't as good as Pledger was his first 2 years but he's having similar problems. If he can take steps to be a bunch better next year, and we have the newcomers doing some things we'll be real good next year. Despite poor shooting percentages in Big 12 play, Pledger is a star.

Amazing performance by Steven tonight! He was definitely the difference in the game. With Fitz and Romero struggling to score, it couldn't have come at a better time.

If they can find another guard who can hit the open shot it will help take a lot of pressure off Pledger and he will be even better. Too bad Newell petered out because he and Pledger would be tough to defend especially with Clark's struggles.

Pledger is around 100 pts from joining OU's career 1,000 point club.On a sidenote Fitz is about 200 away from 1,000.

Yep. Just having the Cam of last year next to him, or a guy like Crocker even, would make Pledger so much better. He showed tonight that he can do more than just shoot. I saw him put the ball on the floor and go around the quick little KSU point guard, and that Spradling guy who isn't slow himself. He has a better all around game then he gets credit for.

Even though Clark was a highly rated kid coming out of H.S. I think it is too early for people to try and label him a bust. Is he inconsistent? Absolutely. But he is only a sophomore and I expect him to fluctuate. Now, it would be great if his lows weren't quite so low, but unfortunately that's not the case right now. I think he will improve over this year and the upcoming off-season and we will see him step his game up from what it has been.

Agreed. Cam has the ability to be a star if he improves his handles and develops a more consistent short-range jumper. I won't be at all surprised if he has a breakout season as a junior. He has some work to do, but it could easily happen if he puts in the time in the off season.

I thought he performed well in last night's win. He played with more aggression, especially in battling after rebounds and loose balls, and he did it the entire game, not just in brief spurts as we have seen in previous outings.
