Tournament for TV

The BB tourney in Anehiem (SP) is to fill a tv void. The LA Times reported
the attendance record is about 14,000 plus for all 3 days combined. The gas company sponsor will sell you a ticket for $10 if you get gas at one of their
stations. This event has drawn as low as about 4,000 for 3 days.
Doesn't take anything away from a good OU win. Just sorry the games are so late at night that a 2 hour plus drive rules out going but can watch on tv. Hopefully OU can make the final and it will be at a decent time on Sunday.

if OU play the championship game on Sunday the game will be at 8:00 CST

all of the "feast week" tournaments are "made for TV" .....

hawaiii games are in a civic center ... the orlando games have little crowd ... the atlantis game are played in a ball room ...

the only tourney games in a real arena is the NIT finals in NYC

It's a perfect environment for our team. A neutral game to get used to playing away from home without the hostile crowd with decent competition.

Couldn't ask for a better building block.
