I don't see how the Thunder will be able to afford Kanter and the rest of their guys.

I think they can rather easily. Let's say somebody offers him the qualifying max which would start at around $15 million. Kanter is already on the books for $8 mil so that's just an extra $7 million on top of the $76 million they already have committed plus the ~$4 million they are paying Collison for a total of $87 million. But remember they could still move Lamb, Adams or Jones too which would reduce that number. The new cap is going to go way up in a couple years. They would be fine.

Kanter could be the missing link to a dynasty. They have the rest of this season to decide if he's worth matching close to a max offer which he will probably receive from somebody.
