@OUHOOPS were we close to breaking the record for most users on the site at once yesterday?

Isn't that Spangler in the jeans and plaid? So, this was Kruger's first year.

Yes, that's Ryan. He was in street clothes while sitting out the season after transferring from Gonzaga. Sure glad he wanted to come back home!

This absolutely changes the direction of the program for the next year or most likely two years. This team was going to get better not matter what, but with Trae we are most likely in conference race next year.

No doubt about it. Trae affects a game in so many ways, he will be a difference maker next year. He is exactly what OU needed to take a huge step up in the conference race a year from now.

I really agree with this. I dont generally like egos, but a dominant personality and playing style could be exactly what is needed to fill the bill here. He gives them their default that the rest of the collaborators (Doolittle, McGusty, McNiece, Odomes) can fill in the niches around.

When you have a dominant gear like that it's so much easier to immediately determine what game you're in and what the right play is. I immediately know that I am the off-man whether I am with the ball or not so in a 2-man or 3-man game I see the right play so much quicker than having to figure out if I am supposed to be default ball now and then figuring out where and with who the right next play is. In the 4 or the 5 you pivot off of the point or the top of the key or the ball-side wing. But with a dominant player moving across the top or thru the middle you create those 2 and 3 man plays that players recognize and it all becomes real fluid and organic. thats the kind of ball I like.

Great Get. He looks like a real game changer. The kind of player that others will want to play with because of his drive and dish capability.

I notice that many of the negative posters are not celebrating.

Funny how the naysayers disappear when things don't go their way, isn't it?

I'm not talking about the posters who thought Trae might choose KU or even Okie State. It wasn't that hard to believe he might pass on OU in view of the season we're having.

I'm talking about the handful of posters who refused to give OU a chance with him. What bothered me the most is that they seemed to delight in stopping by as often as they could to rub our noses in that possibility. Who needs posters like that?
