I have watched him play. Good shooter. Very small for a big recruit this early.

Nice player. All these offers now, I would say no.
I was told by two different coaches that these were mostly made up and he hasn't been offered. I have no dog in the fight so I just tell people I don't know because I don't.

As I said he is a nice player just don't see all these offers now. Does that mean that I don't see it in the future? No. Just rig now 5'11 shooting guards are not offered like this.

All major recruiting services are reporting. Ranked in top 60 for 2017. Doubtful this kid is making it up. I don't have a dog in the fight either. I like seeing great things happen for Oklahoma kids.

I know for a fact that he has been offered by OU & OSU. Got it straight from the horses mouth, and their last name wasn't Young. I don't know about the 6'1", but not shorter than 5'11" at this time. He is compared to a Curry type shooter and I would say that is a good comparison. I have been seeing an increase in offers by college coaches more and more. McDowell out of Southeast was offered as a sophomore, Long and Meyer hold offers. 2016 is a good class, 2017 has Trae and Kristoff Hayden and Tre Evans. 2018 is loaded with potential.

I've know a college coach who also told me some of these kids are not be truthful with who all has offered them. I don't know about players mentioned in this thread. But I do know about a girl player that is spreading bad info regarding her offers. Funny to watch. Sad but funny.

Trae's been going to OU games for a few years now. When he was in middle school, Mike Neal used to work with him.

I'd have to think we have a big of an advantage over osu on this one.

I have basically asked because so many coaches are asking me how he is being offered by these teams. They know I talk to coaches but told them they don't call me about frosh.

Michael Neal actually was named the Norman High Women's head coach. He hired Morgan Hook as one of the assistant coaches, Carolyn Winchester is actually the other assistant.

Recruiting from a player's standpoint is just as much a sales job as from the coach who is recruiting him. Every year, there is more and more competition for one scholarship as the level of play and increases. Someone like Trae, great shooter, possibly undersized for his position, he should do everything in his power to get as many coaches as possible to notice him positively. If dropping a blurb about UCONN on his twitter feed, gets other coaches to take notice, good marketing job by him. UCONN is obviously recruiting him, I personally don't see anything wrong with it.
