tramel's constant bashing of capel and such has been interesting to me. not that it wasn't deserved the last two years....but, heck, we won 5 games in conference was about 3 more than i thought.

if it's about tiny and corruption and tramel's white horse, we've seen plenty of cheating both up and down 1-35 in "these here parts" (tramel's aw shucks affectation). if Tramel knew something all along and that was the occasion of the firing, then OK.

Eddie gets a free pass around here. not like the world dials up the name Eddie Sutton as "cheater free basketball coach".

i agree. now, if Jeff knew about Tiny's loan or whatever or there was something else that Tramel knew about, OK. but, it seemed like more for sure.

i think Capel deserved another year. no one was going to win with this year's team. 5 wins in conference this year surprised me.

i wonder if cutting ties with Jeff is a way to keep future NCAA trouble away from OU insofar as possible.

if we want a new coach, why not beat Tech and Arkansas in the regional market in firing? timing seems odd.
