Starting to get a bit worried that the incoming portal is an empty shlef. Especially compared to the men's activity but of course the women weren't in as bad shae as a team as the men.

I wonder if they are trying to get Ndjakalenga. She does follow a couple people of the current OU players. She would be a nice addition.

Yes same here. 6 open spots and with technically 9 on the next season roster is harsh as of right now. Im hoping we at least get 2 to 3 but Idk not much too choose from now. Im not understanding why we aren’t recruiting the portal as hard. Like I understand coach Baranczyk wants a small roster but you gotta be quick with 2 to 3 players we need to get out of the portal for replacement.

I think the biggest need would be a backup center, and one that can score. I love Culliton, but she is not going to be enough when Beers gets into foul trouble. Then I'd go to a longer guard (Kneepkins). I also think the UT girl would be a great addition, but would she even be open to it?

Starting PF/Backup Center/Post depth are major areas we need to address.

We lost a LOT with Skylar/Liz graduating and KJ/Landry portaling, which was confusing because I thought they’d both be major rotation pieces this season and now all we have is Culliton and Freshman Brooklyn Stewart, that’s good but not the only ones you should count on

There have been solid F/Cs in the portal but most of them are gone now, it’s kind of frustrating lol

I agree 100%. We NEED a backup center.
If we can get Kneepkens, possibly Ndjakalenga and a True Big I think we will be in good hands.

Bears signing took for ever because they were also negotiating with Jonas Chatterton, Maybe we are replacing Jonas with a coach from Utah. Ryan Larsen perhaps. He coached the guards and also has a background in recruiting and scouting.

But if it was UCLA then what would be the hold up on an announcement there?

I saw where Skim said that her recruitment was mainly an OU/UCLA battle and Oklahoma was the front runner, but that was like a week or so ago and with TX recent activity it looks like they may have moved on and SC really isn’t her best fit

I think everyone could agree that for OU to get to the next level, we need to recruit better athletes... especially in the front court. Not just great basketball players....better athletic basketball players.
