Transfer Portal 2025

Minor....

Ndjakalenga followed Peyton Verhulst back and Nicci Hays Fort followed Ndjakalenga's brother. Sometime yesterday on both.

Coach (Michael) Neal followed Gianna on X.
Do we have any clue when Kneepkens will announce? I been hearing this week but no one knows when.
And who is her brother?

I haven't seen an official date. UCLA might be trending.

Ndjakalenga's brother? Appears to be in high school....but it's interesting that an OU staffer would hit follow. To me, it shows that OU is serious in their pursuit.

I find it weird that she didn’t want to commit when UCLA was trying to get her to commit on the spot and she told them no.
Idk. My thing is anything can change. All im going to say is this would be a BIG blow for Oklahoma if they didn’t get her. Unfortunately. I sure hope Jennie and her coaching staff can pull this one off and a couple of more out of the portal.

So outside of landscape, what would be the draw to choose UCLA over OU?

Jennie is a better coach than Cori Close, didn’t she just lose her entire freshmen class to the portal plus Barker and London both transferred. It’ll just be Betts ball next season

I just think best fit wise it would be
•Oklahoma
•UCLA
•Texas
•South Carolina

You literally just gave all the reasons she would choose UCLA. Lol. Having fewer options to compete with, more money available, and more opportunities to handle the ball.

Sir do you even know what you are talking about? They literally get CLW back another PG/G. You clearly do not know what you are talking about. Kiki and CLW will be having the ball most of the time along with the Betts sisters.

All the reasons huh lol. And she wouldn’t have plenty of opportunities here? With a better coach/system lol

Interesting note:

With Serah Williams committing to UConn only 2 players left uncommitted on ESPNs Top 25 transfer list #4 Gianna Kneepkens and #16 Iyana Moore

we are also still pursuing the UCF player, so that tells me they ARE out there pursuing players. Sometimes the best fit isn't going to be the highest rated player, Kneepkins being an exception. Hopefully we hear something soon, we need a couple players, IMO.

1) a backup center for Beers
2) a guard with some college experience to spell Chavez or Vann (or maybe even start)

May not be popular but I think Culliton backs up Beers next season. Culliton looked more improved as a junior. I’m hoping another off season going against beers helps prep her for a bigger role as a senior.

Seems like OU is only going after Guards.
I think the doom is gloom is saying that we are 14 levels behind USC and USCe. Thats a bit of an exaggeration as just about every team in the country is behind them in athleticism. Texas signed 1 recruit this year and UCONN will be on a downhill slide when they lose Bueckers & Chen. I wouldn't be surprised if Geno hangs it up this year at 71. We do need better athleticism as a team to compete for a top spot in the SEC...even without a portal pick up we will be more athletic next year as Zya's minutes will go up and the addition of the Freshman class.
