Transfer Portal 2025

do u think miles thinks he's going to play professionally in the future?
getting more minutes or starting for a guy like him won't mean jack squat to his future earning potential in basketball.
he should definitely get the max nil he can get in the now.
absolutely he thinks that he will play professionally

I think a lot think they are going to play professionally. Many can overseas.

Heck Elijah Harkless making a name for himself in the g league. Not out of the realm that he gets a small chance soon.

he played in 10 NBA games this season
Wow, I guess I'm a little out of touch and didn't realize that Hark got some PT in the league. I also saw where he was the G-League "Most Improved Player" and averaged like 27 ppg??!!! Good on him! I hated when he got hurt his last year here at OU...always thought he was a solid player. I will say, I never envisioned him playing in the NBA though.

so i guess we can claim another nba player who was a sooner
That's kind of like Bama people wanting to claim Hurts I guess. Harkless' ESPN profile shows UNLV, since he played there his last season.

On Evan, there is an old saying that there are lies, damn lies and then statistics.

On Duke, he was essentially benched this year. Goodine moved into the starting lineup. As the year wore on, Dayton began taking some of his minutes. And, with Jones and Jeff coming back, he would have been competing with them. I liked Duke and wish he would have stayed but I can see where he thought he was likely to have a very reduced role in the team next year. One thing is for sure: Duke is not a point guard. He only has the handles to be a "short space" dribbler IMO, and he certainly didn't have the handles to be a point guard in the SEC. In my opinion, he was a good tough undersized wing. I thought he gave us good production and played winning basketball, but would have been a disaster at point. Fortunately, we had Fears, Kobie and Dayton for that role.
Duke Started 34 of 34 games this year.
