Wasn’t aware that Fears was a portal player. Aka the only guy who saved us from a 13-win season.I’ll bite. Told myself I wouldn’t engage anymore.
If Porter sucks so bad and we had c/d level players…. How did we make the tournament?
you keep moving goal posts.
Who recruited him? recruiting is all the same. Sure there is different methods. Thankful Coach had connections to Mr. Fears. That's how things work.Wasn’t aware that Fears was a portal player. Aka the only guy who saved us from a 13-win season.
Another wonderful, thoughtful “reply” from our “insider.”
Great defender, very solid all around guard. Like him better than Mack or Miles honestly.Javontae's dad

Meanwhile Javontae followed one account today (he recently followed OU MBB, Bob P, and Moser)

I wouldn't take him. He's a minus defender all the way around. The fascinating stat I found on Tae Davis is that he averaged 30 mpg, is 6’9” and only had TWO blocks the whole season! That’s amazing when you think about it. I’d still take him, but he’s def not a rim protector.
I like him too, just wish he could shoot the 3 ball as well as Miles. Mack isn’t a great 3 ball shooter either, but I like him too. I’d even take both Mack and Javonte…they both can create.Great defender, very solid all around guard. Like him better than Mack or Miles honestly.
He looks good in catch and shoot situations, but I wonder if he's shooting too many off the bounce on a bad team.I like him too, just wish he could shoot the 3 ball as well as Miles. He's 4th in the country in steals and was 1st before he broke his hand. He's got incredible quickness. Played great against Michigan State this year. Had 4 or more steals in 11 games. His ability to stay in front and quick hands / feet will make him a better defender than Kobe or Duke in the SEC.Campbell wreaks of another Javian McCollum. I don’t think you’re getting by with a 160-pound guard in the SEC.
That’ll get exposed badly, so he better be a GREAT offensive player.
We're not far off:It's amaing how different people are.
Tae Davis - not a take for me
Seb Mack - not a take for me
Keonte Jones - absolutely a take
Javontae Campbell - absolutely a take
Silas Demary Jr - impartial but I probably wouldn't pay what others are/will (over $2 mill, may end up close to $3)
I would want a star or two, like Ja'Kobi G, but in the realistic range for OU.
I mean if you can simply pick and choose from that list it’s fine to have your preferences. But IF Campbell went somewhere else, I’d def take Mack. We aren’t in a position to turn down a player as good as he is/can be. Personally, I’d rather have that Stilwell kid than Tae, but if we didn’t get Stilwell, I’d def take Tae. I do love that Keonte Jones kid, just don’t think we’ll get him. Demary is a good player, but I don’t look at him as a star type player worth the $ being discussed. It's amaing how different people are.

this is a surprise...a lot of people thought Houston
I believe you, but the lack of size will be a problem in the SEC, it just will. He's 4th in the country in steals and was 1st before he broke his hand. He's got incredible quickness.
