I think we have enough shooters.

Pack, Brown, Jones, Dayton, and even Nwankwo are all good shooters. We need a little size and defense with Pack, Brown, and Dayton all being smaller, and not great defenders (my opinion).

Agreed... would like someone who could maybe be both. A 3 and D type guard (definitely a little more defense for sure though)

I don't know what else we are after, but if they are really holding out that much hope we could probably get him for very cheap (relatively) and put more money towards a big to close out the roster.

I’d say this either means we feel comfortable where we are at on guards and are pursuing him and a big… or more likely he would be the “big” we add and then go and get a guard. If we get Reid I’d imagine neither Jeff N or Jones would start.

This was absolutely OU's decision on Campbell. The plan was for Campbell's agency to meet with Porter on Tuesday. One, can't confirm that happened.

Two, just seems like Xzayvier Brown took Campbell's spot. Not based on the type of player they are, necessarily, but maybe because everybody is like the same size.

I know Bowling Green upped its offer (originally around $170K) but just sounds like OU showed the initial interest but (obviously) never pulled the trigger.

I'm in the camp Xzayvier Brown won't announce until OU announces Justin Scott. And we all know assistant coach press releases take wayyyy longer than they need. So much more red tape on something like that than just a portal commitment.
