Because he's a small guard who doesn't have all world athleticism. He'd go in the 2nd round like all small guards, which means nothing guaranteed and probably making less than he would in NCAA next year. Business decision.

He ain’t small! He’s 6 foot 4! He doesn’t have athleticism. He has an uncanny knack for scoring and getting to the line 10 times a game. I’m not sure if he can get the calls in the SEC or or Big 10z


He’s a gambling defensive guy who reaches a lot, puts his head down and gets to the line often. In the AAC he gets a lot of baskets in transition. I’ve seen this dude a lot!

There’s a difference between “I don’t like this guy’s game” and “game doesn’t equate to winning”. Too much evidence readily available at every turn to dispute what you said.

His perimeter jumper is ugly as sin. No bucket he’s ever gotten has looked smooth, he forces himself to the line constantly. (actually, I know they’re completely different players that play different positions but it sounds exactly like someone describing Tyler Hansbrough lol).

The bottom line is that it’s been effective, he’s won, and he’s been the key component, while putting up nationally elite numbers.

Just admit you hate him and move on. Dude is a really good NCAA basketball player. Is he perfect...NO.
