The funny thing is that if Uzan were still at OU and put up those numbers for his senior year, the same people saying he was vastly improved at houston would be saying Moser didn't develop him over 4 years

if he had his numbers last year at OU he would have been wildly praised ..

this year came down to him starting in a terrible shooting slump .. he was much better the second half of the season . .

That doesn't explain his fantastic and clearly superior Junior season though.

He struggled this year. I think he struggled early when the freshman were trying to get their legs under them, but he played better as the season went on. I'd have to double check that. But his Junior season doesn't go away because he struggled this year. Most of his struggles were shooting.

💯

If someone wants to see an example of a player completely transforming after leaving OU, look no further than Alondes Williams or otega oweh. Los, not so much.

Apparently you can’t read either 😂
His win share tripled from his sophomore to junior year. His offensive rating went from 99 to 122. His box plus/minus tripled. His points per 100 possessions increased by 6.5. Nope, nothing to see here.

I don’t pretend to know how all of those are calculated, but I assume win shares and plus/minus are significantly impacted by the rest of your team. Plus/minus absolutely is and it rarely tells the whole story.

i also was referring to his senior year, so i guess maybe you have a reading problem too.

That's not what those mean.

And his senior year doesn't go away just because of a great junior year.
And yes, a lot of his struggles were shooting...which happens to be a pretty big part of basketball lol

Why do you discount his senior year?

Lusk dropped a couple players to be on the lookout for:

Kayden Mingo - mentioned we will have heavy interest here, relationship with Justin Scott, but UNC might get involved because of his brother being signed there

Karter Knox - mutual interest between both, but his asking price is too high right now

Jamie Kaiser and Tomas Thrastarson - budget friendly and backup options if we don't land with Knox

Terrence Brown - interested, but will go where the biggest money is

DeSean Goode - interest

***Notes that we are willing to spend on the right guys, but the market is really high right now, especially for centers.

Only 1 needle mover for me with that list.
