Yeah- I tried to avoid any DUIs, traffic violations, etc. since those are more common. There was also an accusation of a gang rape by 4 osu football players around 2004 or so, but that was never prosecuted. I really was just trying to demonstrate what appears to be osu's carelessness in some areas.

What Blackman got in Texas was an offense only given to minors and it applies if they have had anything to drink. I am not a criminal attorney but I am positive this is the law in Texas. We don't have both DUI and DWI for people over 21. This does not justify Blackman's decision to drink underage and operate a vehicle but he was not over the legal limit for someone over 21. I don't know anything about his other DUI

So now accusations are the same thing as actual convictions?

Never said accusations were the same as convictions but I don't recall any other school, certainly none in the area, that have had that many sexually based accusations the last few years. Either there are a lot of pissed off cleat/sneaker chasers in Stillwater or something is going on at a rate higher than at almost all other colleges.

I think it's a little of both. I think girls are coming forward more which is obviously a good thing. As a vast majority of cases like this go unreported. Those girls deserved justice.

On the other hand, I speaking with a Dean at a smaller University, Athletic Departments warn athletes about being easy targets for accusations. Some have even gotten to the point of making lists of folks who have been known to target athletes.

At this persons particular school a girl was caught in a baseball players room poking holes in condoms. She later admitted to wanting to get pregnant by the player because he was expected to go high in the MLB draft that year.
