You're correct buttermilk. OSU needs to improve on thier 20 win season and thier streak of 23 straight winning seasons.
Buttermilk, good one that was funny.
Well I hope you keep Trailer Park for many years and continue the trend of 14 of your 20 wins against rummies, letting a rapist play all season and finishing the season with 1 win in the NIT at home against Harvard.

Rick barnes for sure and probably mark turgeon. Rick barnes has been to 1 final four, 2 elite 8's and 2 sweet 16's just at Texas. I think he's been to the NCAA tourney 15 or 16 straight years. And has like 1 or 2 losing seasons in his entire career. Kruger has 6 or 7 doesn't he. I'll take barnes.
The 180 that's occurred on this site over the past week is pretty interesting.
About a week ago, most of you guys were ready to jump off a cliff and declare OU basketball dead in the water, especially after Buzz Williams turned you down.
Now the future's so bright, you've gotta wear shades.
P.S. I think Lon Kruger is a good coach, but to read some of the threads around here, you'd think that he was everyone's #1 choice. I don't recall anyone clamoring for him a few weeks ago.
As for Kruger he is, by all accounts a very good coach, but I saw a post of yours (and I know you were probably bocatrolling) where you said he was on the same level as Pitino and Calipari. As an outsider looking at Kruger's career record, it seems Kruger has a definite limit on what he can accomplish, he has never out right won a regular season title, and there seems to be a trend of regression the longer he is at a place. Which indicates to me that he's not a good recruiter, or he gets complacent, or bored the longer he stays at a place.
I think he's a really solid hire and I fully understand the excitement and optimism of hiring a new coach, so good for you guys!
The only problem some OU fans had is the reverse of the problem most Missouri and Okie State fans have ...
We underestimated the strength of our program while Missouri and Okie State fans consistently overestimate the strength of their programs.
I won't get into Mizzou and Ok. State fans' expectations, but you are exactly right about the general attitude of OU's basketball fanbase.
I can't tell you the number of my fellow friends/OU alums that fail to realize how great of a tradition OU basketball is. Especially now when some of them have become a prisoner of the moment due to how bad OU has been the past 2 years... OU is traditionally a Top 20 program, and arguably the 2nd best overall in the conference. I definitely wish more OU fans would realize that and not downplay OU's worth like many do.
So he has 5. My bad! Point is, barnes has a better overall record and better tourney success than Kruger! Sounds like a better coach to me. Turgeon hasnt finished lower than 6th place since being in the big 12. Willing to bet Kruger won't be able to say the same thing in 4 years.
How is 1 sweet 16 since 94 on par with a final 4, 2 elite 8's and 2 sweet 16's since 2002? Nevermind.
