He is heading to the Texas to do player development at the Scrapyard. That is where OU tried to play games on the winter weekend in March.

I think this is a huge loss. It will be real interesting to see who Patti gets to replace him. Kind of strange - I know Patti wants more small ball in the lineup. At least he didn't head north to his alma mater.

Yes, huge loss! I'm kinda surprised we hadn't lost him before now, as successful as we've been. Maybe he was waiting until Lauren and Shelby left. I think Patty will be able to get who she wants on staff.

If Patti's judgement of coaching possibilities is as good as her recruiting we'll get a winner.

People that I would not be surprised to come back as hitting coach - Samantha Ricketts (hitting coach Miss State), J. T. Gasso (Purdue and Mich State, also a grad assistant at OU helping Tripp MacKay with hitting), Jessica Shults (she is going to be a coach), Shelby Pendley (who plans to go into coaching), and I would say Chamberlain but she hasn't graduated yet.

I think that she would go after someone with college coaching experience. If she were to look at some of her players with coaching experience I would say Samantha, Lisa Carey, and Amber Flores might be candidates. I just read the profile on Mississippi State's web site and it talked up how much she helped improve their hitting.

I'm not sure about Destinee, but Brianna is married to Tress Wey who has been the punter for some pro teams and attending nursing school.

Briana has already graduated from Nursing School - she was an outstanding student.
