I'm up to seven teams that are good, could reasonably be expected to be good in the near future or don't completely suck. There's quite a bit of territory between good and trash. It's basically 1995-2005 C-USA.

That's not a bad conference. It's not strong enough that it's ever going to be a selling point to the selection committee for a borderline team, though.

Akeem Olajuwon doesn't make the American Athletic Conference more competitive, either.
