Up next: Northwestern

Doolittle and Odomes were great again!!! I thought Freeman played well for not really shooting it much. The Bienemy played great as well!

Fantastic win!....I can't wait to watch the actual game when I get home (had to record it).

Nice to still win when James shoots .238 FG %. Doolittle stepped up big in the 2nd half and Odomes led the charge in the 1st half. Nice to have a well balanced team this year.

hard to believe no game for 12 days, yikes that's a longtime for rust to build up but maybe enough time for McNeace to get that ankle better

You've got to account for a lot of dudes when you play these Sooners. We've got a myriad of options to throw at you. I can't say enough about the defense in OT. And the tough, late buckets provided by Kristian Doolittle. WOW!

That's going to be one happy flight home from the Windy City.

good calls all.

Just curious, are certain posters who spent the first 15 minutes of the game bashing Doo and saying the team was embarrassing still awake? Did their internet stop working? Do they still hate watching Doo? I can only guess since they haven't posted since we pulled off a great road win against a top 40 opponent without our starting center.

Saw most of the 2nd half.
Was McNease reinjured early in the game?

he tried to press on Law inside and walked away a bit gimpy so they just shut him down. good call on their part win or lose. this huge break will do wonders for his ankle if not his timing. but as an upperclassman he'll be back to making an impact.

Doolittle got interviewed on the Sooner radio broadcast after the game, and he was very impressive. He's intelligent, he's personable and he was quick to give credit to his coaches and his teammates. It was a treat to hear him.

I knew better than to read the game thread during the game tonight and I won't go back and read it now, but Doolittle, like all our players, deserves our respect and appreciation, even if he does have an off night, which he certainly did not tonight.

Sure, the first few minutes were frustrating, but anyone who was panicking or counting the team out (or even just generally trashing them) either missed seeing our first 11 games or didn't learn a thing about this team from those games.

Did mcneace get hurt again or just bad matchup?
