Bless their hearts, they need a new sound person. On the post-announcement interview, it sounds as if they have the entire gym miked up except Frank and the interviewer.

You're right, sky, the sound could have been better, but Booker's choice was perfect!

I like the way he made his choice public by having his teammates wear OU shirts. Also an impressive turnout for the announcement. Obviously, he's a popular young man at his school. And why not, he appears to be a great kid.

I only got a few words in each video. I did hear – and see – enough, however, that it made me very proud for this young man, his family and his high school. I know he'll be welcomed to OU by everyone on this board and the entire Sooner family.

I heard enough to know who he thanked at the end. It was good to know that he didn't leave God out of the picture, which says a lot about the young man. It also warmed my heart to see his father wiping the tears off of his face, no doubt tears of joy because he was so proud of his son. A very touching moment!
