Since Coach Kruger opens up practice for fans to attend, is there also the chance to come early to a game and watch the shoot-around?

My son and I are making the trip over from Atlanta in a couple weeks to watch the Sooners in Tuscaloosa. Would love to go early and watch the guys ahead of time and maybe have my son meet some of the players.

I imagine it's going to depend on whatever the rules are for the particular arena. That decision won't be made by Kruger (although he may have a rule about the players talking with fans before the game) but it may depend on the arena. In Fort Worth, for example, they only opened the arena an hour before the game and the players weren't really accessible to fans.

I actually asked this question when they played here in Wichita last month. The game day walkthrough, which is several hours before the game, is not open to the public. The arena isn't open that far in advance, plus, at most walkthroughs, teams work on specific plays and sets that they will be running that day. If you get to the arena when the doors open, you'll be able to see as much of the warmup as you want, but wouldn't be able to interact with the players. Hope this helps, cheer loud in Tuscaloosa!

We are coming to a game later in the season. My son got Buddy's autograph at his camp here in Wichita last year. He now really wants Trae's autograph among others on the team. No change to get an autograph before the game? Best chance is to stay after the game?
