Vivi?

Haven't had chance to follow closely but I believe Vivi was injured early
in a game maybe 4 games ago. It doesn't seem she is consistently playing
well, nor have her minutes been consistent, does anyone know if she is still injured?

I don't think she is hurt. I think she is having some difficulty adapting to being the focus of attention. Since we don't really have an outside game at the moment, the defense is packing it in against Vivi and EJ. They have no room to move, and they are not yet experienced in making the quick decisions to kick it back out, often losing it while looking for their shot.

Right now, this isn't affecting Nancy as much since she is a bit taller and can see the floor better. The trap did get to her once against Tulsa, and she got it to a cutting Maddie.

I think Maddie and Nancy are building a relationship on the floor. They seem to be able to find each other, and they seem to tip the ball to each other effectively. The sample size is still a bit small. But, a lot seems to happen when Maddie and Nancy are on the court together. Gabbi seems to be joining in.

It seemed to me she was lethargic and possibly under the weather the last game.

Syb is correct that teams are beginning to collapse on her, but the last game she just seemed completely out of sorts. So, I'm chalking that down to sickness and let's see how she does starting the 17th.
