Could be a real fun series if OKC plays like it has wth Kanter and Adams. Golden State can't match 2 7 footers playing like that.

I still can't pick against GS, but portland played them pretty tough and the thunder have played the warriors pretty well during the regular season. Should be a fun one

OKC takes game one after trailing by as much as 14 in the third quarter. Just a more physical team down the stretch.

pretty crazy game

i imagine OKC, like in the SA series, will still have to win another one in oakland

No way I saw that coming. OKC won despite poor shooting (17 of 51 combined) from KD and Westbrook. I don't see how the Thunder can continue to be successful against a great team like the Warriors if their two stars insist on playing keep away on offense from their teammates.

Westbrook was great. despite his poor shooting, he shared the ball well and played an all around great game. He wasn't forcing things.

Durant is durant. You just hope he is on and can cut down on the maddening turnovers

Westbrook was 6-13 for 24 points in the 2nd half.

Difference is those 2 big guys inside. Adams and Kanter are athletic big men that can stay with Golden State's small ball. And are both good finishers. Adams is suddenly a top center in the game.

Adam's devlopement seems to have been exponential. He is really taken off. And if Kanter can defend the pick n roll just average, the thunder have a great shot in the series

You're right about Westbrook. He does so many things well they more than make up for his missed shots. He almost single handily kept the Thunder in the game with his 19 points third quarter. His game high 7 steals and the D he played on Curry in the second half were also key to the win. IMO, he has been the Thunder's MVP this season.

very much so. OKC will always be "durant's team" while he is here, but more and more people are realizing that westbrook may be more valuable than durant

Game 4 will be big and GSW will be w/o Draymond Green most likely.

Re: Warriors vs Thunder.

No suspension. Right call imo.

I disagree. No one can convince me Green's leg kick to Adams' groin was unintentional. If what he did was enough to elevate his technical to a Flagrant 2 and a 25k fine, it should have included a one game suspension. Vandeweghe just didn't have the cajones to do it.

It's the same punishment Serge Ibaka got when he punched Blake Griffin in the kids

Well, I think a kick or a punch to the nads is worse than one to any other part of the body. It not only hurts more, it's downright embarrassing to grab yourself down there in front of thousands of fans in the arena and millions more on television. A firing squad might not be enough punishment for someone like Draymond Green. ;)

Re: Warriors vs Thunder.

It might work in our favor. The team and fans will be even more fired up tonight and hopefully green does something else to warrant a flagrant and he is suspended for game 5

Sounds like the way an OSU fan would want to win.

Just beat them at full strength. Nothing better than that, right?

lol ok

I don't care if steph curry gets injured. After all the bad injury luck the thunder has had, I"m fine with beating golden state without them being at full strength...esp considering their path last year to a championship.

The thunder have proven they are a legitimate championship contender by beating the spurs in 6 and besting the warriors at full strength through 3 games.

I'm not going to complain one ounce if another team isn't full strength. Nothing aggie about that

Re: Warriors vs Thunder.

So this series is basically over. Thunder are just better.
