Everything in the realignment stuff was about football. Never head Coach Kruger or Coach Coale's opinion.

I don't think that's true. During the press conference, President Boren said that all the coaches has input.

Football drives the ship, the other sports have no choice but to follow. Not an ideal situation obviously, but it is where most the money is made.

Football pays the bills for every sport except perhaps men's basketball. But the other coaches weren't ignored over the past few weeks.

I haven't seen anything that suggests this is true. No offense, but OU probably doesn't care about Sonny Galloway's opinion on this. Boren said himself that the two most important people that helped him in this process were Joe C and Bob Stoops. That is straight out of Boren's mouth. Might he have had talks with other coaches out of courtesy? Probably. Doesn't mean they had much, if any, pull though.

I didn't hear all of the press conference, but I did hear Boren say that all the coaches were consulted.

Their opinion doesn't really matter, he may say they were consulted and they may have been not to hurt feelings. However, their input will pretty much fall on deaf ears.

I think all of our other coaches are smart enough to know that we wouldn't be making a decision based on what they felt was best for their individual sport.
