I was afraid I wouldn't be able to see tomorrow's exhibition, but I checked my online listings this morning and there it was. Not sure I'll get to see it from the opening tip, what with an event I'm supposed to attend and then election-night stuff, but I've set my DVR and will get to watch it soon thereafter, if not as it happens.

Wish I could say the same about our season opener.

I may be more excited about the season ahead than I was last year at this time. Most of us knew pretty much knew what to expect last year. There are so many new but talented faces this season, the anticipation and the unknowns are exciting to me.

I'm also anxious to see returning players like Khadeem, who reportedly will be more of an offensive threat, and Rashard, who is expected to be an important part of our rotation. Will Jordan play the point most of the time, or will Strong or Shepherd prove they can run the offense and allow him to return to the role he played last year? Will one or more of our super freshmen contribute this season?

There are lots of unanswered questions, but that's one of the things I find exciting.

They certainly played good against KU and KSU. I hope we play good D and limit TOs
