We have to win games though. We have the team to play in the tournament, but we still have a long way to go to be a lock. We cant afford to choke one away on the road against Tech or Texas. If we do that we will be on the outside of the bubble.

I'm not sure that OSU and OU aren't the two best teams in the conference right now. And I really don't think there's a stitch of difference between them.

I also think Lon Kruger is easily the second-best coach in the conference after Self.

Nice to hear, Jeff. Appreciate your views. I agree. I wish we had gotten him after Sampson left. I wonder where we would 7 years into his stay here instead of just 2. Nice to have real meaningful Bedlam games again. GIA was rocking.

We SHOULD finish 12-6 looking at our schedule - looks very favorable and 21 total wins - we will be in and be about a 7 or 8 seed looks like. Very good year and with the personnel coming back and the new recruits coming nothing but Blue skies ahead!!

11 and 7 gets them 20 wins with a good rpi, so don't stress too much. That puts them in and I'm very glad for the seniors and the rest of us for that matter.

I don't claim to be always right about these things, but here's how I see it ASSUMING we don't win a game in the conference tournament.

10-8 : OUT (we would need to win at least one conf tourney game)
11-7 : 10-11 seed
12-6 : 8-9 seed
13-5 : 6-7 seed

Wednesday's game is really big IMO. This is a game that OU could possibly look past and they cannot for tournament reasons. They could win every game of these past 6, but need to finish at least 4-2 and preferably 5-1.
