Beloved former player. Played pro ball for years so some cred there. Living legend in south Louisiana. Mentored by gray coaches. Been recruiting Houston and south Louisiana for several years. I would like to see joe consider Hollis. Don’t think he would see ou as stepping stone job either

FWIW, they have never finished better than fourth in the Summit under him. Not saying that eliminates him or automatically means he isn’t a good coach, but I also don’t think anyone would have mentioned him even a week ago.
