Everybody knows we got robbed at the hell hole and the Nebraska loss was due to missed free throws.

Not that 7-9 is anything to write home about. But this year it would have been after having to rebuild the entire roster in the middle of the night.

the bottom was last year. The program is on the rise and just a hop skip and a jump from consistent top 4 Big XII status.

Kansas is the only program that is definitely going to be ahead of us next season.

I don't care what we should have been...we are 5-11.

I don't know where we will be next year but I'm not ready to say that KU will be ahead of us. They are losing Reid, Little, and Morningstar. They are most likely losing the Morris twins. They will be good, but I'm not ready to say that they are going to be better than us with the recruiting class that they have coming in. Most likely they will be better than us, but the team that Self has next year might be his worse one of his career there.

Two words: Cade Davis. By a wide margin, our MVP this season, and he won't be here next year.

Who brings to the table next season what he did this year? Who replaces his passion, his work ethic, his defensive tenacity, his rebounding -- I could go on and on.

boca's never given Cade the tiniest bit of credit -- quite the opposite, in fact -- but even allowing for improvement among our returning players, there's no one among them who's exhibited what Cade brings. I hope someone surprises me and steps up to play a role similar to Cade's this season, but I can't imagine who it will be.

I fervently hope that we are better next year but agree with Skyvue, who will replace Cade. Also, I think "program on the rise" is not the catch phrase with which I want to go.

Boomer Sooner!

Don't worry guys Osby will replace Cades scoring as well as leadership, defensive intensity, rebounding and unselfishness. After all he averaged 4 pts a game last year at MSU.

There is no doubt in my mind based on what I have heard Osby has a higher ceiling than Cade. I will be shocked if next year Osby brings tHe intangibles Cade.

Guerrero
Pledger
Clark
Osby
Fitz

That team will win 20 games. If anyone wanted to make some sort of bet on it, let me know. Capel's coming back whether you like it or not, so it's time to get on board.

When did Cesar commit? Was it announced Capel is coming back? I have heard that is far from decided depending on

Boren
Buyout negotiations
Interest from potential replacements

Is this your opinion or fact?

I have never seen Osby play, however, he averaged less than 5 ppg and 3 rebounds per game his sophomore year while averaging about 13 minutes per game. It is a fact that Mississippi State was and are not world beaters so without judging before we see him in game action, he sounds like Ryan Wright. So much hype by the coaching staff, "our best player", "can play anywhere" and so on. Let's hope Osby is better than RW but wouldn't surprise me if he is the same type player with the same type production.

Of course no facts are out. Boren will leave it up to Joe C, and as one of if not the top athletic director in the country, I'm sure he will make a good decision.

I love this board...

Yeah, we loved it too when you were over here bragging about how Missouri was heading to the Big 10 only to be presented with the reality that Missouri is right there with Iowa State and Kansas State in attractiveness.

You better pray that Texas, OU and Kansas keep carrying your dead weight.

UT and OU definitely support the Big 12. kansas does not. Their basketball program is excellent, but as an overall athletic department they are nothing special in terms of bringing in money. Missouri does more in that regard.

Good point........ I wonder what the breakdown is moneywise??? I know that OU/UT football does the most, but what about hoops money??? Any idea?

clown post.

For all the posters on this board who whine about the posters who supposedly don't show up after an OU win, nobody seems to mention the fact boca never comes around between OU losses.

Looking at his posting history, he had approximately 8 posts from the point the game was over yesterday to present. He had approximately 7 posts from between 2/16 and yesterday.

Why on earth would ANYONE want to come on this board after a loss? Who wants to listen to negative nancys ***** and moan about how a college basketball team is ruining their lives? I'll personally pass.
