Creighton North Carolina and the Zags all have hard games .. in the next week if any of them lose OU will be in the top 10 next monday ..

Crazy to think how well the early season has gone. Even the most optimistic fan would not have guessed we'd be flirting with the top 10 nine games in.

Creighton North Carolina and the Zags all have hard games .. in the next week if any of them lose OU will be in the top 10 next monday ..

Hope UNC does not lose to UK. Want them to be above us when we play them in Charlotte.

Crazy to think how well the early season has gone. Even the most optimistic fan would not have guessed we'd be flirting with the top 10 nine games in.

No doubt. I would have to hook up anyone who says otherwise to a lie detector. It is fun though. Bought tickets to ISU game and eyeing Texas and KU games plus will go to game at KU. It’s a long road trip for me but this team gets more than my usual 1-2 games per season.

It’s been great so far but I’m nervous about being ranked too high, too soon. Maybe it’s battered fan syndrome from the last several years and the Trae young effect. Although, this is a complete team and not a one man show.

I really like this team but I’m still hesitant until I see how they do in conference play.

The Big 12 has just been so good top to bottom. It still is gonna be real tough but I think having UCF, down OSU, Texas Tech, Cincinnati don't look that great yet. That will provide some relief from the games from the top 6-8 teams in the league that are all pretty solid teams.

I’m not saying we should win the Big12, but a losing conference record shouldn’t be accepted with this team. That time should be over. We should be able to win 10-11 games or more in conference.

My guess is 10 wins, but 8 is almost as likely as 12. It's definitely a possibility, especially if one of our key guards misses an extended period.

I'm laughing as I think back 20+ years ago. Before the conference season started, I would think something like this: Okay, we should be 6-0 against Baylor, Texas A&M, Colorado and Nebraska. Even if we just go .500 against the others, the WORST we will do is go 11-5...I miss those days .

All things being equal (and no injuries), I see this team winning 11 games or more in conference. This year, OU is just flat better than 8 teams in the Big 12 and are on par with ISU. I believe we are fighting it out for 4th between ISU, Texas, and maybe BYU. We only play Houston and BYU one time....but both are at home. And for the first time in several seasons, there are some pretty bad teams in conference this year (WV, OSU and possibly UCF)....and I'm not sold on Tech or KSU either as of yet. Things can change with teams no doubt, but we are playing for a protected seed this year in March.
