Big drop for Sooners, which we’ve “earned” with this 2-4 start in B12 play. Lunardi has us as a 7 seed now which sounds about right to me. We have a very big 5 day stretch ahead of us.... OSU, Vandy, Baylor. No good teams there. Need to win them all. If we lose in Stillwater we are in big trouble.

I agree. Tomorrow night is a huge game. If we lose that one then I can see this season going off the rails just like last year.

I'd love to know everyone's definition of a "good" team. The NCAA certainly considers top 50 teams "good" for purposes of tournament selection and seeding, and even top 75 wins are important if they come on the road. But this board seems, on whole, to think that only teams in the top 15 or 20 are worth a darn.

yep ... the entire big 12 is top 90 in the NET ratings

if ou wins vs vandy they likely only "need" 7-11 conf record to make the dance

Of the three teams I mentioned I’d only revise Baylor. They may not be “good” but they are at least average. I’ve seen them a little bit and my thoughts are “meh” but I guess you could stretch it and say that’s a good team. I’ve seen OSU up close and personal— they stink. And Vandy is in last place in the SEC at 0-5; they are terrible. In five days we play one below average team (OSU), one horrible team (Vandy) and one so-so team (Baylor) that you could MAYBE say is pretty good. Two of them at home and the one road game is hardly a “trip.” They really need to win all three.
