Weird things about tie breakers

With WVU beating KU today and Baylor beating KSU today, they both finish at 9-9. They split the season series against each other, but because WVU beat KU, WVU gets the 6 seed. Baylor gets the 7 and another win by getting TCU in the first round. WVU needs wins to improve their NCAA resume. Don't you think they'd rather have been the 7 to get the easy W over TCU?

yes, WV would get the win, but it would hurt their RPI. Actually I Would think trying to win 3 games in 3 days would set up better for them than having to win 4 games.

WVU has a good chance to beat Texas. That would do more for them than beating TCU.

Wow didn't realize after all that we finished alone in 2nd at 12-6. Seemed like a tie of some sort was inevitable just a couple days ago - great way to end the season.

Agree with this. They are much better off not having to play TCU.
