Well, tough season but I’m thankful for....

Making the tourney and having a winning season. Everyone on here needs to remember how miserable it was last year. I Hate it when we are not in the tourney - and I want to THANK Trae Young for coming to OU and helping this team. No matter what any of the negative Nancys say, without him we would have won about 10 games like last year.

TY will go in the top 10 and he will average a double double in the NBA next year. He will get his points and many of the fouls that were ignored by the stupid and terrible NCAA refs Will be called and his passing is some of the best I have ever seen and with great players around him to finish next year he will have about 12 to 13 assists per game. Thanks for all you did TY!!!

Last year was going to be a rebuilding year regardless. We essentially won 7 more games with a lottery pick and a once in a decade level talent who happened to grow up in our backyard.

Do you know any other pros coming out of Norman North anytime soon?

Not sure I can feel better about this season. Atleast last year at this time there was some hope looking forward.

Glad it’s over but I hate to lose. Most frustrating season knowing we could play well and win yet we completely tanked the last 8 weeks. Don’t see a lot of hope for next year.

Last year was the worst season I’ve seen an ou team play since the Blake/schnellenburger football years. Improvement with 20 losses is ok in high school; not at a program like ou.

The players may make some progress next year but the wins are going to be like last year as well.

The NBA comments are out there. LeBron James has never averaged a double-double. Westbrook doesn't get calls and he is a MVP winner and avg a triple-double. Trae's passing will benefit from the NBA's spacing but I have a hard time seeing instant success for him in the NBA next year.

This year was infinitely better than last. I also don't get the improvement narrative from last year. The team was terrible last year from start to finish.


This team has a talent deficiency, and it was on clear display today. Unfortunately, we don't have a talent influx in the pipeline. This program is going nowhere fast.

Going from the penthouse to the outhouse this season has been hard to swallow.

We were much better than last year but I still feel more disappointment than thankfulness simply because we regressed during the season and too many guys didn’t improve in their development as basketball players this season. Without TY we probably would have been worse than last year.

I agree. Making the tournament is an accomplishment and one the program can brag about even though 6 weeks ago we thought it would end better.
