For those who think Kornet played exceptionally well last night (and I agree), I, for one, believe she's played well in a majority of our games. Scoring is certainly important, but it's not the only criteria in determining how well someone plays.

There is plenty of inconsistency on this squad to go around.
Kornet has yet to become the player we all thought she would be when Sherri signed her. She, like N.G. before her, has a chance to get better.
Sherri clearly likes the 4-guard line-up, but I think she realizes we are such a weak rebounding team that in tougher games she isn't going to be able to go with Carter instead of Kornet -- especially because N.G. has a tendency to disappear in those games too.
I do think Kornet is adjusting to her role a bit this season too. She's having to bang under the boards a lot more and she may not be used to the phsyicality of that.
I don't know much about West Illinois University (they're in the Summitt League? ok then) but given how they played last night, it would be a travesty if they missed the NCAA tourney
