More shooters? More size/rebounding? Just quality depth? Backup pg?

I look at the team and it looks pretty well put together... Doolittle and Manek in the paint... Harmon, Williams, and Reaves at the guard spots. That rounds out the starters.

I'd argue just better players. More guys that can consistently score it. And help inside, but I don't see that coming.

I like the guard depth better next year. If a couple of the new guys are ready from day 1 (Harmon, Reaves, Williams), and JB takes the next step, we might be better than we are this year. I'd say we'll probably be comparable, although the OOC and Big 12 records will likely be more balanced.

A high quality Big Man. Someone that can defend the pick and roll and rebound. Wouldn't hurt if he had some low post moves.

We need shooting/scoring.....specifically a guy or two who can hit the 3 somewhat consistently and more guys who can break the defense down and create their shot off the dribble. Our defense has been really good this year....all things considered (#20 in Kenpom defensive efficiency).

And a quality garbage man in the middle wouldn't hurt either.

I'll be very surprised and disappointed if we aren't better next year than this. We return three starters who should all be better next year, and Doo has shown that he is making a jump. JB will almost surely score more with less ball handling responsibility. Reaves is better than any of our graduating guards, and Harmon and Williams in particular look like guys who will be impact players from the start.

Agree that better big man play is a huge key. Of course, due to Muni's injury and resulting ineffectiveness, we have basically gone without any real contributions in that area, so it's hard to imagine there won't be at least some improvement in that department.

Agree with all of that which seems like it is asking a lot but it really isn’t. When we shoot the ball well we are a good team. The main issue I see now is that we often struggle against better athletes when we can’t create much off the dribble (which is a required skill in LK’s offense).

Agree that D is not bad and is better since LK started mixing man and zone.

More BASKETBALL players. Guys that actually understand the game

Kuath to be a difference maker even if it’s 8-10 mins a game.

A physical big man who can defend, rebound and get trash buckets.

I believe we have the Scorers/Shooters already on the roster or signed.

Shooters: Manek, Reaves, Bieniemy
Scorers: Doolittle, Harmon, Williams

Physical PF/C: Polla, Iwuakor ,Merrit(?)
Skinny PF/C: Kuath, Garang

Need a grad big who can score a little inside.

JB, Doo, and Reaves all have far above average basketball IQ. That's a good start in that department.

All we need is for Harmon and Reaves to be what they're expected to be. Maybe I'm just too optimistic after watching them torch KU, but I think we'll be just fine with Manek and Doo in the frontcourt. We just have to find a third guy to give them a breather off the bench.

I would just add that Bienemy adjusts to being off the ball... I assume Harmon will assume that duty.

If its what they need that isn't necessarily signed its a starting 5 man that's earning 25+ minutes a game. KD at the 5 should not be plan A.

Manek and Doolittle will be our starting 4/5. Regardless of how well they've both played at times this year on offense, I still think our ceiling is somewhat limited with both of those guys starting.

What's the over/under on jump balls won with that lineup?
