I have been away for a year or two. Where are the famous jayhawk hall monitors Cheno and grace 24?

Do you think there's a lot of OU football fans that hang out on Kansas football message boards?

grace still comes around but primarily on the NBA section. No one knows Cheno's whereabouts and I don't think anyone really cares.

And campbest still trolls on this board 24/7.

Cheno was a liar that claimed to be an OU fan. Some of you that defended that guy over the years should really take notice. The guy was a total Richard. Grace on the other hand was an honest guy that liked KU and college basketball.

The reason all of those guys were on this board is they recognized that OU was the primary competition for KU in the conference. They had a need to monitor what was said and comment on it. Now that OU sucks they don't care what OU fans say.

I was never much of a cheno fan because most of his compliments to OU were backhanded.

I do agree the main reason he's not here is because we suck. He's probably hanging out on the tigerboard or the baylor website right now. They are/were KU's main competition in the conference the past few seasons.

And by saying "trolls" you mean owning, then yes I do.

Grace is a good guy who does alot of things to help in his immediate community, especially with the youth. I would venture to guess that he isn't here as much because of 1) his schedule can be very hectic, and 2) he had a major feud which included a mod, and things got kind of ugly. He decided to back away from posting because of it.

I can relate to that as well. I stopped posting on all Sooner boards except this one because of a major run in I had on another board. I lurk some of the other boards at times, and I see my name still being thrown around by the same group of people who were giddy when I had the incident with another poster. I was wrong for how I responded to the guy, and I never should have said what I did. We buried the hatchet awhile ago, but I made a personal decision to avoid those potential situations again, by leaving the boards where that type of stuff is welcomed. There are groups of posters who live to bait others in, and sit back and watch two posters fight.

The incident happened during a time that I was dealing with my son's murder. I was emotional/volatile, and trying to find an outlet to help me deal with the loss, when I was introduced to the various Sooner boards by a Sooner co-worker. I said some things to another poster, which over time have been morphed into things I never typed or said publicy, or by PM. As a result, I stopped posting all together on those boards, and I am better for it. I made the mistake of including strangers into my personal business, thinking we were all a group of friends and trusted individuals.

Grace was a good support for me when I was dealing with the initial shock of having my kid murdered. He is a good man, and a stand up guy. We managed to put our Sooner/Jayhawk differences aside, and actually had some very uplifting conversations. He is a man of faith, and his spiritual walk is very important to him. I believe the main reason he stopped posting was not so much OU's fall from the top of the hoops world, but more he was hurt/offended by some of the things said in private during his situation here. I'm not even going to say who was involved, who was right, and who was wrong, because it would all be my opinion, but I will say I understand how something like that can happen and make you decide to leave a message board all together.......

Actually I heard that CoolM has been busy patching the cracks in his driveway and killing all of the weeds around his property

Kansas has the easiest region I have ever seen. If they don't make it to at least the elite 8, if not the final four, it's a monumental collapse.

This...Detroit Mercy is probably their toughest matchup to an Elite Eight. Their record and numbers are misleading because Eli Holman (Indiana transfer) was out for a while. There is only one McD's All American in that game and he will be suiting up for Detroit (Ray McCallum).

I agree, I have been touting them to beat Kansas since the brackets were released. I'm not picking Kansas, but that's a big GULP! game for KU fans, one of them being my wife, a KU alum. Also, I have to represent the Horizon League so go Titans! (oh wait, happy wife happy life, hmmm)

Told my roommate that Detroit was going to be a scary 14 seed after they thumped Valpo in the Horizon final (@ Valpo)...didn't think they would fall to a 15. If they are at full strength the entire season, could have been an 11 or 12.

So basically it'd be a repeat of last year, when, from a seeding perspective, they had one of the easiest roads to the Final Four and still couldn't get it done.

What happened to Sooner04? Loved he's recaps. Maybe this gut wrenching season put a stop to those? Hell I could barely sit through it (the games) the first time, let alone relive it in a recap.

Yeah, I've been missing him too. Hasn't posted here since early January I believe. He also posts on SoonerFans.com, but I just went over there and skimmed a couple pages of posts and didn't see him. Hope he's just disgruntled about the team and everything is OK.
