Of Mulkey, Dungee, and Llanusa, which one do you think will have the greatest impact on our success?

You only get to pick one.

I hope it's Mulkey but I haven't seen her play aggressively yet. I am going with Llanusa primarily because she is very athletic. She and Mulkey both need a lot of work in the weight room.

Dungee will be good. Llanusa can take us to a Final Four. But, Mulkey..........Mulkey could change basketball. I don't worry about her size.. She has some agility, and she is stronger than she looks. But, everything changes when she comes on to the floor. When you watch a lead disappear and become a ten-point deficit when she goes to the bench with fouls, only to have it become a ten-point lead when she comes back in, you see how she impacts a game. Her team was toast against Dallas Skyline, just as Lauren Cox's Flower Mound team had been. But, when Nancy was on the floor, they were inept.

With Nancy on the floor, her guards can run. Without her, they couldn't hit a shot. The other team could do well as long as they shot threes. They were totally reluctant to shoot inside. In AAU, she did the same thing. She blocked shots.

It is just flat difficult to get the ball over someone who is 6-9, maybe taller. Her arms seem another 6-9. She can guard both sides of the lane without moving. She has so much reach. She doesn't need to block down where she would get fouls. She just needs to put her hands out there where the ball is coming. Mostly, she just needs to be there. They'll make mistakes on their own, like taking really stupid shots or shooting all threes.

I suspect that the only difficulty that Nancy will have will be officials. In the State Playoffs, they called some really bad fouls on her to keep her off the floor. I doubt that anyone else would have been called for about three of those. Still, they couldn't beat her. She just makes people do dumb things.

I like all three. I didn't see Dungee last year, but saw her the year before. She has to learn to play a full game and not take plays off, especially on the defensive end. Llanusa maybe the best of the lot, but I will agree with Syb on this one, I think Nancy will be a game changer. For her size, she is fluid in the box and she can do what I did not see Courtney or Nicole do in the post, she can step out and hit the 15 foot shot if need be. She will make the opposing posts really guard her and that will open up the lane for our guards. I think once she gets comfortable playing D-1 basketball, she will change a lot of game plans for opponents.
