Why Can't Sherri Win on the level of Patty?

Sherri is, and always will be, a legendary coach here. Kinda like Bob. And just like Bob, she's still having success, but seems to have gotten complacent. It's hard not to get to that place when you've been good for so long, and have so much job security to go along with a massive contract. That's why some coaches suggest that it's good not to stay in the same place for too long.

When a coach gets to a point like this, I think it's necessary to let them know that the fanbase isn't content, and that while all their accomplishments are appreciated, they didn't sign a life-term contract. When Bob got to this point, he fired Heupel and Norvell, and made the changes necessary at nearly every level to get back to the top (well, not quite there, but getting close). It's time for the same type of pressure to be put on Sherri, and I imagine that process has started. Here's to hoping she gets back on top (or more realistically, 2nd)!
