I think we will, we were close in 88 (FU danny manning) and we had the best team in 2002 but had an injury to q. With the quality of talents in the area (OK, TX, KS, LA, NM, etc) and a quality head coach like we have, its not outside the realm of possibilities.

Someday is a pretty long time, so I'll say yes.

If James and Reynolds had been on Capel's team with Blake Griffin, OU might have won a championship that year. Toss in Keith Clark and that team is even more talented. Three times in the last 25 years OU has been close. One day it will probably happen but right now I just want to see OU being competitive and making the Sweet 16.

OSU won a conference football title... So, yes anything is possible...

I'd guess just about every program in the country can point to a surrounding region with just as much talent.

I do think OU will eventually win a title, though. Unless the sport ceases to exist, odds are anyone with the resources and desire to win eventually will someday.

I agree although I might make an exception for Missouri because you guys don't really put much into mkaing the final four.
