Will Trae Stay or Go?

I think the guy is one of the most talented players to ever play at OU. A sad thing for me to see was the celebration when they knew they were in the NCAA. Everyone leaped to their feet except Trae at the announcement. He sat for a while and appeared to be celebrating on his own. He stood and one other player came up and shook his hand and gave him a chest bump. Then the other players were still jumping up and down and hugging and cheering and Trae stood to oneside alone. The tape ended at that point and I don't know what happened after that. Hopefully, he engaged with his teammates and they showed him some love. But I fear he does not have good chemistry with his teammates. Hopefully I am wrong. I wish nothing but success for this young man. He is a fantastic talent but the wheels came off the team in the first K-State game. Lot of finger pointing but that doesn't change the results.

Earlier I thought he may stay to get his game polished and gain some maturity. But now, unless I misread what I saw he is gone no matter where he is drafted.

They both know Trae needs another year physically and mentally to be better prepared for the NBA, however they'll have to balance that with maximizing his draft position. Hard to see him seriously consider staying because of that.

I don’t know Trae Young or his family but I have heard his interviews and I have heard his dad’s interviews. I have also heard people I. The sports work consistently say what a good person Rayford Young is. These things would lead me to believe Trae Young is a really good person.

I can’t even believe marine what an egotistical jerk I might have been with Trae’s talent. I really doubt I could have handled things as well as Trae Your no did.

Kinda like MJ , constantly doing his own thing ....even pregame .MJ wasn’t a bad person.Mjs teammates didn’t love him , but they did respect him .I don’t think Young’s do either , partly from being a freshman .
