No, his teams always flamed out.
There is an article out today about how people are seeing that NN was not just Trae Young....sounds oddly familiar
Is being the state runner-up "flaming out"?
Can we stop with the hyperbole from both sides.

Same to you except WOW lol. Ive only been on this board for a short time but seems like some of the people who have tons of time to sit around and post big numbers think their opinion matters more - here’s a reality check, it doesn’t lol
I'm using stats. Not advanced stats. just plain old % stats that have been used for a long time. I'm not manipulating them. If you think I conjured them up then I don't know what to tell you. Yet somehow, you like to tell me that i'm wrong and that your opinion if FACT and then come and lecture me about thinking my opinion matters more.
Heres a fact for you...trae is one of the statistically worse shooters on our team.
You still havent answered - EYEBALLS - what we all saw lol
So, this boils down to the lack of maturity/petty jealousy by the rest of the team, Bounce? I hope these guys don't have any aspirations playing professional basketball, because none of them will be the star on their team and thus won't receive the attention the star does.
No not a lack of maturity or petty jealousy.
Its not a lack of maturity to dislike playing with a primadonna ball hog.
And it's not petty jealousy...its earned jealousy.
Well, when a player from a power conference is averaging nearly 30ppg and 10apg as a freshman and hitting roughly 40% of 3 pointers, the media is going to notice and give that player a ton of recognition. To be jealous of that is petty jealousy.
He isn't hitting near 40% to start off.
And it isn't an efficient ~30 ppg.
Thats not the reason behind the jealousy though.
Heres a hint...if Buddy Hield was on this team and averaging these numbers, there would be no jealousy
LOL.
When all the media hype started, TY was doing exactly what I posted.
So, tell us why the jealousy started since you are in the know.
i don't even know what this means.
My eyeballs tell me what I see. Your eyeballs tell you what you see.
Stats tell the truth
My eyeballs tell me that the team is jealous of the attention Trae has received this year and that they do not like playing with him and the dumb shots he takes. And they don't like how every one plays them for the teams success when they are shooting better and playing better defense than Trae is. They don't like being a scape goat for a kid that doesn't give two ****s about the program and will be gone next year.
Thats what my eyeballs tell me.
yeah you don't get it. thats fine.
Come on Bounce, either talk about what I said or DON’T respond at all - your a repeater - quit spouting the same old thing over and over. I got it the first time and don’t believe it. For 30 years I have dealt with stats in the medical field, and doctors and pharmacists and many very intelligent people wil agree with me and tell you that they read creative “stats” every day but they know that many of them lie and are put together in a way that make one argument sound correct. But they and myself as well have learned how to discredit the poorly put together “stats” and look at the truth. Now you can go on and on and on about your stats but the facts are that stats LIE every single day.
Now IF you want to talk about what I said, and surely if you are a good OU fan, you dvr’ed the game. The EYEBALL test is go back, since you didn’t see it the first time, and look at the game and count how many times Trae set up his teammates with open looks or open layups or easy scores and the Failed!!! IF you can see true to do that and keep count, you will count between 15 and 20 times that happened. That my friend is the EYEBALLS test and the facts, if you chose to look at them correctly, will Scream at you from the TV. Or you can continue your path of blindness lol.
ok
you can have your factual eye ball tests
i'll take my made up field goal percentage stats adn be on my way
Offensive rating is a points produced per possession stat, which is a function of his teammates disastrous performance.
He's still leaving but has now fallen below Collin Sexton, and therefore is the #2 PG off the board (#3 if you count the foreign dude who most say will be a SG). Down to 9th on several big boards.
Thanks for sharing. I wasn't aware. Does his shooting percentage (33 % last night on 21 shots) or the fact that he turned the ball over 4 times affect it?
