I live in Norman, but I had to work in Ardmore this week. Otherwise I would be there because a piddly snowstorm has nothing on a '93 Bronco XLT 4x4.

Not so fast my friend. I live off Rock Creek Road in north Norman and we can't even get up the our street to the main roads. Unless they plow the road, it is not possible, and I don't think it will do any good because the snow is blowing around so fast right now and pilling up. It would drift on the road again in a few hours.

This secondary area of snow that has developed is absolutely ridiculous...I was expecting the storm to be done a few hours ago and it's still nearly a whiteout out there...just insane.

When I was a kid, we lived in Amarillo for 3 years. We had blizzards 2 of the 3 winters I lived there. The wind blew so hard the snow was flying parallel to the ground. After the storm was over, there was little to no snow on the north side of our house. On the south side, there were drifts so tall that us kids could walk up the drifts to the roof of our houses.

I just woke up and even though I only live 2.5 miles from the LNC I feel like this is going to be chore to get to the game. Always wanted to die from being a hoops fan.
