We won 11 last year, and that was with bad losses to TCU and Texas, and Buddy missing a number of games.
I'd be pretty disappointed, assuming we stay relatively healthy, if we didn't win at least 10 or 11 this year.
10-8
7-1 vs TCU, Tech, West Va and KSU
2-2 vs Tx and Baylor
1-5 vs OSU, KU and ISU
8-10 is most likely. Unless teams like Tech are better than UTA/Seton Hall, etc. them we might be working hard to scratch out 6 wins. The way a weak A&M team easily took us out of our offense was very concerning.
It just amazes me how you guys can take an 11-2 record and individual games that we have won and use them as evidence that we have a weak team. It would make more sense to me if you were using a losing record and games that we lost as evidence as evidence of poor performance.
I don't think its saying we have a weak team..but a weak non conference schedule, maybe.
You need to just throw the 11-2 out the window b/c we are about to head into conference play without a single quality win. And only W.V., TCU and Tech can say the same thing. That puts 6 teams coming in that has actually beaten a ranked team.
Betcha we do better than 1-5 against those last 3.
