Woodard

And Stevie Clark is already getting suspended. lol

But seriously, Woodard is going to be a stud as an upperclassman. I'd be pretty shocked if he wasn't one of the top 2 pg's in the league both as a junior and senior.

As good as Jordan is now, I can't wait to see the upperclassmen version! Kruger definitely knew what he was doing when he put on a full court press to sign him.

He's playing awfully well for a freshman PG. I appreciate that he is always getting teammates involved. We know he can score, but he'd rather get the team going. That's really nice to have at point on a team surrounded with guys who can finish.

He might be pretty darn studly as a sophomore. :woot

I've been extremely impressed with JW from day one, the guy just oozes winner!

I'm really liking his unselfish game and potential. The things I would like to see him improve are (1) not making silly fouls, and (2) improving his FG percentage on his outside set shots.

His fouls are limiting his minutes. He gets a little careless and takes some chances he doesn't need to take early in the game. I also think he's a better outside shooter than he has shown. He just needs to get comfortable with the speed of the game.

I like having a true PG.

I agree but those are great things to ask of a freshman. He is doing the most important stuff quite effectively. He is running the offense, defending and contributing offensively. He will learn to limit cheap fouls and be more selective on his shots (or to simply shoot better). I think he has a chance to be a special player for OU. What freshman pg in the last 30 years has done anywhere close to what Woodard has shown this year?

Absolutely love what I'm seeing from him. He also seems the type that when he does hit a wall he will stay within himself and let the game come back to him, opposed to jacking shots and forcing the issue.

He's already doing things most freshmen – especially point guards – can only dream of doing. I truly believe this kid will be a star and one of the top (if not THE top) point guards in the league by next season.

Jordan does so many things to help his team that it seems almost absurd to harp about the things he needs to improve – i.e. foul trouble.

That stretch where the Sooners literally ran Mercer out the gym and built a 30-plus point lead was the best 15-20 minutes of OU basketball I've seen since the 2002 season. And, barring significant injuries, I'm pretty sure these Sooners will only get better as the season progresses.

Oh, and I believe Mercer is much better than one or two of our posters gave them credit for being. They, like most of the other teams we've played so far (MS included) just had a hard time dealing with our team speed.

MSU had troubles at times and MSU is an excellent team with a lot of experience. Obviously MSU was better than OU but a very young OU team gave them a good game.
